For over 30 years, Christian faculty at UCSB have been meeting regularly for discussion and prayer. For decades over 50 faculty members have published an annual Resurrection Proclamation in the Daily Nexus simply declaring their faith (by definition: a confident trust in a credible or reliable source) that "He is Risen."
This year, rather than publishing the traditional Resurrection Proclamation, they will publicize the availability of valuable online resources on what is arguably the most important event in human history: the resurrection of Jesus.

"So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. (Jesus in Matthew 6:31-34).

THE CHIEF PURPOSE OF LIFE
"The chief purpose of life, for any one of us, is to increase according to our capacity our knowledge of God by all the means we have, and to be moved by it to praise and thanks." - J.R.R. Tolkien
Audio and video recordings of Dr. William Lane Craig’s exciting debates, talks, and interviews as well as both scholarly and popular writings are available free online.
DR. GARY R. HABERMAS
Gary Habermas has dedicated his professional life to the examination of the relevant historical, philosophical, and theological issues surrounding the death and resurrection of Jesus. His extensive list of publications and debates provides a thorough account of the current state of the issue. Christian believers as well as unbelievers may find within the contents of this site a strong argument for the philosophical possibility of miracles and the historicity of the resurrection of Jesus, as well as the theological and practical implications of this event. Many of his talks and debates are available on this site and at the Veritas Media Library.
